Digital Marketing Team Manager - Americas at Cisco Meraki
We’re seeking a Digital Marketing Team Manager to lead strategic campaign development for North and Latin America. In this role, you will take a keen interest in understanding customers, have a real passion for simplifying multi-regional marketing programs and will have a consistent track record of effectively partnering across teams inside and outside of Marketing. You’ll be an essential part of our growing team, with exposure to both Global Digital Marketing leadership and the broader Marketing team. We don’t expect you to do it alone, you’ll also lead a team of Digital Marketers and will know how to get the best out of this capable group with transparent campaign plans and a collaborative work style.
Our team is responsible for lead generation, customer facing content and building impactful partnerships. Your day-to-day activities could include working with our strategy team to identify growth opportunities with our existing customers inside North and South America. You could be on the road meeting a customer with a few of your Marketing coworkers, helping to capture a video and write a compelling case study. During annual and quarterly planning sessions you would likely find yourself brainstorming new campaigns to drive future business. Based on your background we could also lean on some of your platform expertise to help improve our Marketo ABM process with the Marketing Operations team or investigate if it’s smart to support some of our Brand team’s social media posts with paid investment. This role will provide a chance to create and influence all the key levers of any marketing campaign.
You are data driven, but also know when to trust your instincts. You have experience partnering with teams that run paid advertisements or, ideally, running them yourself. You’re comfortable requesting and leading budgets. You have some experience crafting, guiding or producing customer facing content and are excited when you have the ability to scale to new audiences. You strive to provide stability for your team and adapt well to inevitable changes. Finally you are a good teammate, mentor and developing leader who takes more pleasure in promoting the accomplishments of your coworkers than your own.
While this position is based in Chicago. The Global Digital Marketing organization also has teams in San Francisco, London, Tokyo, Sydney & Shanghai. Coordination across these regions means some light business travel. Thankfully the locations, and teams that reside there, are pretty amazing.Ideal experience
- 6+ years of experience leading digital marketing campaigns from strategy to retrospective reporting
- 2+ years of management experience
- Experience with Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot or similar marketing automation tools
- Experience building reports in and working with SalesForce
- Experience with analytics platforms like Google Analytics or Adobe Suite
- A strong perspective on how SEM and SEO work together and how to get value from each part of the search equation
- Experience with database and reporting tools like SQL
- Experience with Google, Facebook, LinkedIn or other Digital Marketing platforms
- English fluency is required, Spanish language is a big plus
- Bachelor's degree
