We are looking for a collaborative team player who employs innovative thinking to develop and continuously improve programs, exhibits strong leadership and communication skills, and excels at driving efficiency.  The Digital Partnerships Analyst II’s responsibilities include the day-to-day management and strategic planning of campaigns run in partnership with our brand partners, external partners and departments within Ulta Beauty. This role requires both strategic and tactical level work to continuously improve the experience of our guests and brand partnerships.

 

The Digital Partnerships Analyst II is responsible for strategic planning, development, execution and evaluation of Ulta Beauty’s Digital Marketing COOP Program. Reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing, the Digital Partnerships Analyst II will work with internal teams across marketing and merchant teams, as well as external brands and partners to achieve business objectives. Ulta Beauty is looking for an enterprise thinker that exhibits leadership and persuasion skills.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)   

  • Speaks confidently to all available digital Program channels as a subject matter expert
  • Assists in developing all strategic direction for brand funded digital campaigns alongside Digital Marketing Manager
  • Leads yearly and quarterly planning sessions with brand partners
  • Demonstrates ability to adapt and onboard new channel offerings; assists Digital Marketing Manager in bringing in new platforms and ways of working
  • Demonstrates ability to present and synthesize information to large groups of all levels, including Senior Executives
  • Participates in monthly forecasting and profit measurement for the overall program
  •  Acts as internal media planner for all partnership programs; able to understand client goals and objectives and recommend how to flight the media accordingly
  • Owns and manages entire workstreams for all Brand Partner Digital campaign execution details and relationship management
  • Works closely with external and internal partners to ensure alignment on approach and strategy for Brand Partner digital campaigns
  •  Identifies and tracks opportunities for new creative formats or strategic approaches utilized in Brand Partner campaigns, including noting best practices and learnings, on a quarterly basis
  •  Informs Digital Creative Team and Digital Marketing Analyst II of any key insights that can be applied to core program work
  • Presents learnings and proposals via phone or in-person meetings with internal and external stakeholders (including Sr. Leadership)
  • Participates in Market Week meetings to develop relationships with key Brand Partners; attends relevant Digital Specific Breakout Sessions
  • Works with Digital Marketing Manager on identifying, tracking, and applying key Quantitative / Qualitative insights to incorporate into brand proposals
  • Partners directly with Loyalty, CRM, and Analytics team members to appropriately share insights from Digital programs and understand opportunities to refine approach to brand campaigns based on key learnings

 

 


Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS in Marketing or Business Administration
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with Digital Marketing channels or partnership marketing
  • Proven track record in managing marketing programs within the retail industry
  • Media planning experience; preferably in an agency setting
  • Self-starter that can work independently
  • Ability to work in startup like environment
  • Excellent account management skills
  • Ability to synthesize disparate pieces of information in order to see new opportunities
  • Excellent client service skills
  • High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  •  Advanced problem-solving skills
  •   Understand how/when to incorporate qualitative data into decision-making
  •  Proven ability to work closely with technical (software development) teams
  • Vendor management skills
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
  • Solid data analysis skills and ability to identify actionable insights from large data sets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay focused and organized
  • Omni-channel experience
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel
  • Strong presentation skills and an aptitude for synthesizing complex material so that it is clear, meaningful and actionable to a variety of stakeholders
  • Background/interest in cosmetics/beauty/fashion fields
