We’re looking for a seasoned digital strategist who understands both the parts and the whole of multi-channel programs. This role will use all data sources at our disposal to connect meaningful digital insights to the business objectives of our clients. This is a “hands on” role within the agency and your practical experience will be focused on all things organic, including website optimization, content strategy development, and content marketing. This role is a master at distilling data down to its most useful form, allowing us to apply these learnings to the target audience and ultimately, drive results.

 

You are accountable for:

  • Supporting research, analysis and insight delivery to develop or support in-depth audience profiles, creative briefs, and POVs
  • 1st and 3rd party research to support proposed marketing strategies
  • Ongoing support and optimization of approved plans
  • Tracking of all primary and secondary KPIs and accurate reporting/storytelling
  • Acting as the agency’s consumer expert, providing the internal team with a crystal clear understanding of target audiences and digital consumption habits
  • Developing accurate and insightful conclusions to support recommended direction to internal teams and clients
  • Working seamlessly with our Web, Creative and Client teams in supporting and executing against organic strategies
  • Acting as a strategic partner and advisor with senior agency and client management
  • Regularly contributing to the agency’s thought leadership efforts
  • Continually evaluating and adding to the agency’s arsenal of tools and technology, improving how we get things done

We are looking for:

  • Someone who respects data as an essential element for developing and managing successful programs
  • A client-facing person who has a track record for defending, implementing and managing successful digital programs
  • Someone who understands the full marketing mix, but has specialization in organic channels (e.g. SEO, Social)
  • A team player who gets their energy from working with and supporting people – be it clients or peers
  • An innovative soul who isn’t scared of continually trying and learning new things in the name of progress
  • A thoughtful self-starter who can easily integrate themselves into teams and processes, working towards the same goal or vision
  • Ability to adapt with ever-changing priorities and needs of the agency and clients
  • Someone with a deep understanding of performance metrics, but who can move past answering “how we’re doing” to “what’s going to move us forward”
  • Someone who balances creative thinking with accountability

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years experience client-facing as a Digital Strategist
  • Experience with 3rd party planning and competitive intelligence platforms (e.g. Kantar, eMarketer, Hitwise)
  • Full understanding of SEO & Social tools (e.g. Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, Sprout Social, Radian6, etc.)
  • Google Analytics Certified (AdWords and Facebook Blueprint Certified a plus)
  • Working experience with common CMS platforms, especially Wordpress & Drupal
  • Hands on experience with report creation and delivery – preferably through marketing intelligence platforms
  • Experience developing lead nurturing content strategies and working with marketing automation platforms a plus
