As the Director of Brand Marketing, you will build a world class team spanning content, creative, social, PR, media and partnerships. This is a newly created "test, prove, scale" role that will challenge the right person to be inventive and deliver on proof of concept ideas that scale beyond traditional thinking.

You will wake up every day obsessed with building our community of raving fans. You will navigate through the world of live event ticketing and tap into consumer insights to build a brand that is simple, powerful, and that rises above the rest. Here are a few other things that we will look to you for:

• Develop the strategic brand framework and architecture– brand positioning, consumer target & activation platform – to drive consumer demand through marketing and communication plans
• Generate insights from data and research to create growth opportunities and make decisions
• Provide ongoing category, channel & competitive analysis to influence brand strategy
• Lead brainstorming sessions with creative teams to develop concepts, inspiration paths and new avenues of thinking to keep brand executions fresh, relevant and breakthrough
• Work with agencies as needed in the creative development process and execution
• Ensure the proper balance between working and non-working dollars in our marketing plans, making the case to the CMO and CEO
• Build a new creative team to support all marketing communications
• Invent and lead scrappy brand activations, local media tests, and on-the-ground partnerships
• Lead social media content and engagement across all channels
• Work with internal teams on PR stories that enhance our brand
• Monitor Brand awareness and sentiment showing progress over time and impact to company growth

• Exceptional ability to build and lead a team, leveraging both creative and analytical strengths

Other Requirements

• BA degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or other creative discipline
• 7-10+ years experience in brand ideation, creation and strategy and leading multi-disciplinary teams through a range of strategic and creative projects from inception through execution, with focus on merchandising, out-of-home, digital/social, tv/radio, video and local ad hoc initiatives
• Previous managerial experience
• Excellent project management skills
• Proven ability to utilize data driven insights to initiate action
• Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with change
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a laser-like focus on the details
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to clearly communicate results, key learnings, areas of opportunities for programs
• Proactive approach and enthusiasm to problem identification and solving
• Creativity, fearlessness and an unwavering commitment to putting the customer first, elevating your team and ownership over outcomes
