Jellyvision is hiring a Director of Communications

Who we are

How you’ll help

You will be the voice for Jellyvision – sharing content, stories and information to cut through the noise. You will be responsible for communications both internally and externally, working with team members in Product, Product Marketing, Marketing and executive leadership to ideate strategies and content that drive awareness and interest in our products. You will partner with Demand Generation creating content and topics that stand out in a crowded marketplace, targeting buyer personas at all levels. This role is pivotal to Jellyvision achieving pipeline and ROI targets. A strong understanding of PR, content distribution, campaign strategy and Social Media are required.

What you’ll do

  • Introduce a fresh perspective to the Marketing department and the business at large.
  • Challenge the status quo of the business and the industries we support, seeking out new, creative and innovative tactics and opportunities for elevating our brand while being helpful to our customers and prospective clients 
  • Collaborate with internal partners and key stakeholders in the development of the content strategy and calendar, management of departmental budgets, and in the coordination of submissions on behalf of the business. 
  • Collaborate with HR in order to support employment branding, helping keep JV as a known employer of choice
  • Partner with Demand Generation and Product Marketing, helping to create content and assets that drive action at all stages of the buyer journey
  • Establish meaningful relationships with customers, thought leaders and media leading to increased generation of placed content, customer forums, and social media coverage.
  • Lead a talented team of writers, marketers and designers, including freelance talent, while developing their skills and helping define their career paths.

Experience & skills you’ll need

  • 10+ years of experience (ideally with SaaS) branding and communication 
  • Experience refining, evolving and deploying brand and messaging architecture that is highly relevant to our target audiences, across channels.
  • Ability to ideate and develop new types of content and communication vehicles designed to provide (helpful) solutions and accelerate buying cycles.
  • Ability to drive the creation of relevant marketing content to include whitepapers, videos, blog posts, press releases, infographics, etc.
  • History of supporting webinars / events by developing messaging, design and content.
  • Demonstrated communications expertise with exceptional verbal communication skills and a clear and persuasive writing style.
  • Experience across key brand and communication disciplines including video, marketing content creation, digital marketing, regional websites and social media.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and have an immediate impact in a high-growth, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Must be a creative, flexible, hands-on marketer that’s comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever it takes to get the job done.
