The Role:

The Director of Consumer Marketing position will lead the company’s efforts to define, implement, track and report on all consumer marketing initiatives to directly support acquisition, activation and usage of the higi consumer product offerings. This position will report to the President and work closely with the VP of Solution Marketing and Director of B2B Marketing.  If you’re passionate about improving the health of people’s lives as well as ambitious, collaborative, results-driven and fun, then you the kind of person we are looking for as our new Director of Consumer Marketing.


What you will Do:

  • Own and drive higi’s direct-to-consumer/ consumer advocate marketing outreach, strategies & tactics to align with the higi brand and business objectives to inspire/motivate current and future consumers to utilize higi products, services and partners
  • Refine higi consumer personas and define the optimal consumer journey with marketing touch-points for each type to deliver maximum benefit to higi and our higi customers
  • Understand the digital ecosystem and how desktop, mobile, social, app, search, and other online and offline channels work together in the optimal, personalized consumer journey 
  • Develop, project manage and execute against a holistic, multi-channel B2C marketing plan incorporating higi’s direct to consumer learnings to date with new channels, tactics, A/B testing scenarios, and messages 
  • Provide single point-of-contact for all consumer activation and messages to optimize the ideal consumer multimodal experience across higi stations, mobile and website
  • Lead the development of consumer-driven marketing research and patient/caregiver programs
  • Effectively communicate and report on campaign performance and KPIs for digital initiatives and develop recommendations on future digital marketing programs for implementation
  • Provide budget estimates and forecasts for all consumer marketing activity, including defining success measurements and optimizations for each acquisition channel
  • Monitor and report on trends, best practices and marketing programs of other digital health companies and competitors
  • Partner with internal design, product development and B2B teams to provide ongoing feedback on higi’s core market segments and emerging product and personalization needs
  • As needed, work with higi partners – retail, provider, payer, employers, etc. – to create co-branded marketing programs which help them better promote higi to their healthcare consumers 
  • Support higi leadership and report on consumer marketing program performance, trends, data insight, etc. as needed


What we are looking for:

  • Professional marketing experience at a consumer products, healthcare or technology organization with a minimum of 6+ years of experience focused on offline and online direct-to-consumer marketing efforts
  • Healthcare technology experience and start-up experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated capabilities of growing consumer adoption and product usage preferred
  • Solid business acumen and excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Compassionate, smart individual with a desire to connect with and understand consumer needs in healthcare and populations health
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Competency in digital marketing platforms, CRM, lead generation, data analysis, web-design, social media platform management, Microsoft office suite, Salesforce and Adobe products
