As the Director of Demand Generation, you will lead a team of marketing managers within the Revenue Marketing function and be responsible for the strategy, campaign development, and execution of programs that drive pipeline revenue to meet company targets. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to support a fast-growing company as it categorizes a new market and grows revenue at scale. 

The role requires a well-rounded candidate who can combine legitimate expertise across the marketing mix with the ability to learn Cribl’s products quickly, distill its technical value, and drive mass-market appeal. The successful candidate must be a strategic thinker who can execute efficiently. Marketing is both art and science. You must possess an analytical, numbers-oriented mindset and be equally creative in ideating and developing campaigns that achieve corporate revenue goals.  

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the demand generation function and team, including development and execution of strategy to drive market awareness, educate and capture buyers’ interest, and build revenue pipeline
  • Work closely with leaders to effectively position demand generation campaigns in line with company objectives
  • Create audience segmentation & ABM strategy to deliver targeted and relevant messaging to improve engagement and conversion
  • Implement ad spend and organic strategies to maximize the reach, impressions, and conversions in support of the marketing goals
  • Forecast, measure, analyze, and report the impact of demand generation campaigns; interpret data to gain insights that then translate into actionable changes
  • Optimize the channel mix and customer journey through testing and experimentation
  • Partner with Marketing Ops and other stakeholders to identify where technology and data transformations present an opportunity to increase effectiveness
  • Develop, coach, and manage a high-performing team of demand generation marketers while building a strong culture of rapid experimentation, measurement, and iteration
  • Manage and prioritize demand gen quarterly and annual budget for team

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in display advertising and demand marketing for enterprise IT audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and executing multichannel demand generation campaigns and programs with global experience
  • Proven success in leading demand gen and integrated campaign efforts for new innovative products and can articulate and develop impactful messaging and creative campaigns that reinforce corporate branding
  • Experience in building, mentoring, and coaching a team of marketing professionals
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic start up environment
  • Prior experience planning and executing campaigns for customer and partner audiences
  • Resourceful and creative with efficient and flexible work style
  • Strong global campaign strategy, development, and execution experience
  • Strong knowledge of Account Based Marketing principles and technologies
  • Experience working on campaigns for MM and ENT is a plus!
