We’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Director to lead the building and execution of our digital marketing strategies for customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. The person will work alongside the Chief Marketing Officer as well as our Brand & Community Manager to drive our multi-channel e-commerce strategy. Strong analytical skills and an ROI-focused marketing approach is required for this role.

Responsibilities: 

  1. Digital Strategy – Build an e-commerce customer acquisition & retention funnel from the ground up.
  2. Paid Search  – Develop and maintain all paid search campaigns on Google, Bing, as well as Amazon Sponsored Ads. 
  3. Paid Social – Develop and maintain all paid social campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube, etc. 
  4. Sales Channel Optimizations – Work with CMO on sales channel optimizations for e-commerce website and Amazon product listings. Build and execute ongoing testing roadmap for conversion rate optimizations for both channels. 
  5. Email Strategy – Work closely with the Brand and Community Manager on building and maintaining automation flows, lead generation strategies, and ongoing email promotions and content for prospects and existing customers.
  6. SEO – Work closely with Brand & Community Manager to develop short term and long term SEO strategy. Work with freelance contractors for ongoing SEO-optimized content generation.
  7. Customer Analysis & Segmentation – Ongoing customer analysis and segmentation via surveys, post-purchase questions, customer calls, and review analysis. Work with Brand & Community Manager and/or interns for customer calls and emails.
  8. Goal Tracking & Analytics – Set up Google Analytics with appropriate goals and KPIs for with the marketing team. Track the goals, KPIs, channel attribution, costs of acquisition & ROI. 
  9. Collaboration – As part of a growing company, there will be ongoing team work and collaboration on all areas of the business including but not limited to sales, trade shows & events, operations, etc. 


Requirements: 

  • Demonstrable experience with digital strategy and execution
  • Hands on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, Email Automation Software
  • Strong analytical skills and ROI-based approach to marketing
  • Deep knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices
  • Expertise with web conversion optimization and basic web design
  • Strong project management, team management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work and adapt in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to lead & own projects and willingness to learn on the go.
