To be successful in this role, you’ll need experience building and executing marketing strategies from scratch for a variety of B2B and B2C products, a high degree of comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to balance strategic work with rolling up your sleeves to execute.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a full funnel marketing team focused on business growth, for both net new accounts to growing existing customers
  • Define and execute overall marketing strategy, including overall product positioning, customer segmentation, demand generation, and product marketing
  • Build measurable marketing campaigns and benchmark criteria to measure and continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs
  • Lead adoption and go-to-market strategies, including ongoing marketing campaigns, to deliver against outcomes and achieve business goals
  • Partner closely with different teams to achieve big meaty goals.
  • Create and execute communications strategies tailored to appropriate audiences, including in-product messaging, website content, social channels, launch material, emails, education materials, etc.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant marketing experience with a successful track record of leading and managing a marketing team within well-regarded and branded technology companies
  • Previous startup to growth stage company experience ($0M to $100M+)
  • Experience marketing an enterprise software product
  • Strategic thinker that can build innovative marketing campaigns, combined with the tactical ability to execute
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills and presentation ability. Must be able to demonstrate a strong body of work
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, detail orientation. Ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask
  • Analytical and data driven orientation
  • Ability to be both a leader and hands-on "doer"
  • Humble, pragmatic, and down to earth orientation
