We’re looking for an ambitious Director of Marketing for our fast-growing, investor-backed company.

 

About the role

We’re a scrappy, passionate, and ambitious group. You should be too. As our Director of Marketing, you will develop comprehensive, full-funnel demand generation strategies utilizing various channels. You’ll build on efforts to foster a sticky, viral, consumer brand that changes the way talent think about looking for jobs. As an original thinker, your creativity will help us develop a rich and diverse community on our two-sided marketplace. You are entrepreneurial, creative, and fearless in your experimentation to help us reach a demographic of users that no one else can. You have a growth mindset and enjoy taking a hands-on approach, rolling-up-your-sleeves to drive results.  As our Director of Marketing, you seek out opportunities to get into the minds of our users and customers and keep their needs at the forefront to develop compelling campaigns that inspire them to act. You understand how businesses work, keep up with industry trends, and use your knowledge to plan and execute effective campaigns.

 

Some challenges you’ll tackle

  • Develop comprehensive, full-funnel demand generation strategies encompassing various channels (digital media, social media, programmatic, email, influencer marketing, native advertising, sponsorship, and shared media.)
  • Optimize performance across acquisition channels in alignment with acquisition target goals and other important company goals and metrics
  • Build CRM infrastructure and lead demand generation management, including the design and operation of relevant dashboards and reports, and implement standard practices
  • Develop partnerships with third-party solutions to leverage new channels and scale
  • Experiment with local and high-touch, non-scalable marketing

 

Experience and skills that will set you up for success

  • 5+ years of end-to-end B2C lead gen experience.
  • A great practitioner and student of B2C marketing, with strong practical, working knowledge of a complete marketing tech stack and channel ecosystem.
  • Managed a budget with specific channel, revenue, and pipeline goals across multiple channels and for different customer types. 
  • You’ve developed and implemented processes for rapid experimentation across a range of marketing channels to identify the most effective ways to grow a business.
  • You’ve helped scale marketing organizations at early stage companies
