Director, Product Marketing

Sphera is seeking a Director, Product Marketing who will be responsible for managing Sphera’s Product Stewardship software solution portfolio to drive the creation and development of product messaging, content, demand generation and sales enablement. Additionally, this individual will collaborate cross-functionally with the sales, product management, and other marketing teams to shape and scale sales initiatives and campaigns aimed at revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Develop messaging for product value proposition and deliver sales and marketing materials, including sales presentations, sell sheets, proposal templates and ROI models that differentiate Sphera’s Product Stewardship products in the market
Develop and manage product launch plans, including the cross-functional implementation of product training (internal and external), new feature sales tools and documentation
Establish, maintain and leverage internal partnerships with Engineering, Product Management, Sales & Service Teams to drive internal and external readiness for adoption and in-market success for new and existing products
Own market intelligence and educate cross-functional teams on competitive analysis – be the expert on buyer personas, their market problems and buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to win in the market
Identify opportunities for lead generation and create marketing collateral including client stories, data sheets, selling tools, FAQs, etc.
Support all sales enablement needs for pre-sales and close the business activities, including demo and pitch support, RFP/Proposals and strategic sales strategy that position Sphera as the clear partner of choice
Requirements & Preferred Skills
5-8 years experience in software marketing, product marketing is preferred
Bachelor’s degree required, pragmatic certification desired
Proven track record of creating value through strategic product marketing in B2B SaaS industry Command of best practices across messaging, product strategy and positioning
Must have a solid understanding of marketing programs, events, and promotions, as well as experience in developing product marketing plans
Previous experience building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior business leaders
Travel approximately 5% of the time
