We’re looking for an eCommerce Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team in Chicago, IL. 

General Functions + Responsibilities:

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic development of the eCommerce marketing calendar and execution of promotional events, product launches and acquisition tactics 
  • Use segmentation and behavioral data to develop, implement, and manage programs that drive repeat sales, build loyalty, and reduce churn by engaging customers with targeted, relevant content and merchandising at each stage of the customer lifecycle
  • Devise cross- and up-selling strategies and work with eCommerce Solutions Manager to implement 
  • Lead and analyze creative and promotional tests across our website and email programs in concert with Email Marketing Manager and Marketing Analytics Manager
  • Further develop and evaluate channel KPIs, keeping leadership aware of analytics and data summaries.
  • Help provide strategic guidance, insight and knowledge about market trends, consumer attitudes, competitors and the digital marketing space

 Communication & Collaboration:

  • Partner closely with National Sales Manager, B2B to understand sales goals and develop marketing plans that aim to support and achieve them
  • Gain alignment for programming with Supply Chain partners to ensure smooth fulfillment
  • Work closely with eCommerce Solutions Manager to guide eCommerce roadmap that aligns with strategic vision for the channel 
  • Collaborate across marketing to identify and amplify key initiatives and campaigns

Skills + Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience within at least one of the following marketing disciplines: email marketing, search engine optimization, paid advertising, conversion rate optimization or eCommerce marketplace management (Amazon, eBay, Google shopping, etc).

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 7+ years of strategic digital marketing supporting a transactional website or site merchandising experience in a direct-to-consumer organization
  • Results-oriented self-starter with a track record of excellent outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills, proven ability to consume and understand data and work with analytics to get to clear results and optimizations
  • Skilled at building relationships quickly, promoting collaboration and driving teamwork across all levels of a business
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experienced project manager with organizational and planning skills and the ability to manage time and priorities to deliver projects effectively and within set deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities change often
  • Prior management experience preferred
