Description
About Tovala
We're Tovala, a food-tech company completely reinventing home cooking to save consumers time. Through an innovative combination of hardware, software, and food, we give our customers a way to enjoy really good, good-for-you meals without sacrificing time to do whatever matters to them. We've amassed a loyal, rapidly growing following in just a few years, radically changing the day-to-day lives of people across the country and successfully creating a new model for the food industry. We're looking for great people to join our team of hard-working, food-loving nerds.
About the Job
The Growth team is responsible for leading the growth of the organization. We're looking for an Email & Communications Specialist to help accelerate Tovala's already break-neck growth and bring our brand to life across email, sms, push notifications, and chat.
This role will drive day-to-day promotional email sends and automating timely, personalized outreach to convert prospects into Tovala customers. An ideal candidate has experience driving online sales through email, taking ideas from concept through building emails and segmenting lists, all the way to evaluating results and implementing learnings to improve future sends.
You'll work closely with cross-functional partners across paid media, design, brand, CRM email, product and PR to drive key initiatives and deliver results. You'll bring customer-obsession and a deep understanding of Tovala's user journey to key consumer touchpoints.
You'll be operating at both a strategic and executional level. For example, at any given time, you might be experimenting across our cross-medium welcome series, managing the communication strategy for a new promotional campaign, leading the announcement of a new product, driving consumer research, activating a distribution partnership, or evaluating performance of a new SMS activation campaign.
