Sprout Social is seeking a driven and collaborative marketer who will manage a number of marketing programs across Sprout Social's enterprise accounts in order to help drive pipeline, develop opportunities and create new conversations. Our marketing team has helped us reach 30,000+ customers worldwide including the Chicago Bulls, Sony Electronics, Indiana University, Make-a-wish Foundation, Edelman, and Subaru. These businesses rely on Sprout to create stronger relationships with their customers through social media.
The Enterprise Marketing Strategist will be responsible for a number of multi-touch, multi-channel account based marketing campaigns (1:1, 1:Few, & 1:Many) that support our company's pipeline and revenue goals. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Marketing, you will be a key player in partnering across the organization to orchestrate creative and unique programs and become a true ally to the Sales organization.
We're looking for someone with a strong background in B2B marketing, field marketing, account based marketing and/or demand generation, that includes the planning, execution and ROI tracking. This individual is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the work done and welcomes the opportunity to sit at the table and brainstorm ideas with the team.
As a key member of the Marketing team, you will run point on designing and executing scalable awareness and demand generation Account Based Marketing programs. You'll do this by utilizing digital marketing, social media, email and other tactics in coordination with those marketing peers to drive pipeline. You will become a key partner across teams including Sales, Revenue Marketing and Product Marketing to constantly tune and optimize campaigns to increase conversion, ROI and drive pipeline. In partnership with the Marketing Ops and Sales Ops teams, you will track, analyze and report on campaign performance across all channels. Through campaign development and alignment with the Sales organization, you will develop a deep understanding of the key accounts, their influencers and decision- makers, to target them efficiently and effectively with optimum value propositions and messaging to generate interest and engagement. As a trusted partner to the Sales organization, we are looking for someone that will proactively identify gaps, trends, and opportunities to continue to drive the business forward.
Qualifications
These are the minimum qualifications that our hiring team is looking for in this role:

  • 3+ years of B2B demand generation experience, including campaigns, events and virtual programs
  • Experience partnering with the sales organization to drive pipeline
  • Knowledge and understanding of key technologies - SFDC, Marketo (Pardot), Outreach.io (Salesloft), Tableau, and ABM Platforms (i.e. 6Sense or DemandBase)
  • Experience using data to make decisions and knowledge of reporting techniques with the ability to provide relevant, accurate data and analysis to influence business planning and strategy


Additionally, these are the preferred qualifications that would indicate a particularly strong candidate:

  • Experience working with and building relationships with a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team
  • Excellent verbal communication, organization, project management, and writing skills
  • Experience working for a B2B SaaS company


Within 1 month, you will:

  • Experience Sprout's in-depth onboarding, covering everything from our company mission and values, hearing directly from executives and founders, to deep training on our products and the value that Sprout delivers to our customers
  • Make a plan with your manager to set initial priorities, align on expectations for your role, plant goalposts for your career, and learn about Sprout's approach to Enterprise Marketing
  • Establish regular check ins with key stakeholders


Within 3 months, you will:

  • Build connections with members from other teams through active networking and community building
  • Understand key personas, messaging and value propositions
  • Understand and become comfortable with team/sales goals and reporting tools
  • Contribute to ongoing campaigns


Within 6 months, you will:

  • Have your first performance conversation with your manager, where you'll discuss your accomplishments in your role and work together to build goals for your professional growth
  • Own projects/campaigns from creation, execution and reporting
  • Contribute to strategy and idea generation


Within 12 months, you will:

  • Become primary go-to person for day-to day enterprise campaigns and reporting
  • Run campaigns leveraging ABM Platform
  • Become an expert in ABM platform capabilities and a resource for the sales organization
  • Contribute to strategy development


Of course what is outlined above is the ideal timeline, but things may shift based on business needs and other projects and tasks could be added at the discretion of your manager.
