Let's define "Heck of an Event Manager":

  • Research, identify, and organize trade show events to exhibit at and create a proposed budget.
  • Understand requirements and details for every event whether conference, sales trip, or hosted - including research and viability assessment.
  • Plan and organize hosted events, webinars, and tradeshow logistics for ShoppingGives teams, individuals, and all marketing/experience collateral for each event to exceed event goals
  • Evaluate and report on events' success.
  • Plan and organize ShoppingGives hosted events with attention to financial and time constraints, and organizational event goals

Your mission:

Our Events Manager alleviates the logistical stress of running or attending events - allowing our team to better focus on achieving the core goal of attendance or hosting.

Our mission:

Create impact on every purchase. 

We do this by enabling our retail partners to fund a donation to any charity of their customer's choice. Mostly on Shopify. But also on Salesforce Cloud Commerce, Big Commerce, etc.

What you bring to the team. 

  • Experience at a fast-growing technology or Saas company, preferably B2B
  • Experience planning, creating and hosting webinars
  • 3+ years in a corporate event management role
  • Results oriented with exceptional attention to detail; able to drive projects from planning to completion with limited oversight
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to work across diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Comfort operating in an ambiguous environment where there's not a set playbook on how to solve each problem
  • Excellent project management skills - certification preferred
