Description
As the Executive Director of Customer Acquisition for Everspring, you and your team will lead strategic marketing initiatives to generate leads for our partner accounts. You will own the digital strategy, media buying, and channel selection to attract qualified students to our partners' programs online. Distillation is one of your core competencies, as you will need to brief our external agency succinctly and effectively. You are a people leader, managing a team of 5 to 8 comprised of SEO managers, media buyers, and coordinators. Finally, you are a team player with significant experience managing through influence and collaborating with key stakeholders and creative partners.
Responsibilities

  • Oversee and own the creation and execution of digital advertising efforts, managing and directing internal and agency resources.
  • Provide strategic oversight and management of paid performance marketing activities, including SEM, retargeting, video, and display.
  • Responsibility for lead creation and overall lead quality delivered via paid media channels and SEO efforts.
  • Understand performance objectives and company goals, develop paid media strategies to meet or exceed, them.
  • Partner with agencies and internal resources to plan, execute, and optimize marketing budgets.
  • Collaborate with the Analytics team to integrate data intelligence/business signals into campaigns and ensure clear ROI performance of marketing activities.
  • Proactively communicate results to management on a bi-weekly basis and conduct frequent analyses to identify optimization opportunities, partnering with Analytics to ensure robust and consistent reporting of marketing results.
  • Build and implement an iterative testing roadmap to drive continuous improvement that is scalable across the business•
  • Stay current on technical and competitive trends and changes in the Higher Education industry to leverage new opportunities and best practices in driving growth for Everspring, sharing knowledge and insights across the organization.
  • Construct testing plan and execute ongoing tests within advertising channels to assess targeting, bidding & content strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization to ensure user experience throughout the purchase funnel is aiding conversion.
  • Work with client engagement to understand goals, address partner needs, and communicate results and insights.


Requirements

  • You have 8-10 years of digital marketing experience in a customer acquisition capacity.
  • You hold a bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in marketing, advertising, or a related field required; MBA preferred
  • You have deep experience with performance marketing campaign and optimization techniques, tactics, and best practices, including experience with SEM, display media, affiliates, feeds, mobile, social marketing, and models.
  • You have experience managing a large paid media budget.
  • You are knowledgeable of the holistic digital landscape: video, audio, programmatic, paid search and marketing analytics.
  • You understand the performance marketing industry, including expertise in key market players, technologies, and vendors
  • You are conversant in digital advertising tools & platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, etc.
  • You're a seasoned people leader with prior experience motivating, attracting, retaining, and growing top talent.
  • You're a proven doer with a track record of building, optimizing, and delivering multi-channel marketing programs that drive results; full funnel is a must (awareness, consideration, decision, conversion).
  • You have strong analytical skills, incredible attention to detail, and an ability to translate data into actionable recommendations. You tell stories through data, with experience incorporating data to help tell the partner's success story.
  • You have prior experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering results in a complex, matrixed environment
  • You have a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset that drives toward focused, cohesive campaign
  • You're highly organized with solid expertise in timeline development and managing against those timelines
  • You create and deliver compelling presentations to an executive-level audience.
