The Role. 

Root is seeking a Coordinator to support the Paid Search (SEM) Marketing team with execution and monitoring. In this role, you will support the team by setting up, maintaining, reviewing, and optimizing the paid search campaigns that help Root achieve aggressive growth goals. The ideal candidate is detailed-oriented, a fast learner, and excited to take on responsibility for core processes supporting a growing Marketing organization.

What you’ll be doing.

• Set up and maintain Paid Search campaigns by implementing new structures, bids, creatives, landing pages, audiences, targeting, etc.
• Work within the team to plan, execute, and monitor tests for continuous optimization
• Partner with creative team to identify existing assets and/or create new assets for channel use
• Document and recommend improvements to team processes 
• Produce planning/summary documents for projects and share results with appropriate audiences
• Perform regular account audits around keyword coverage, creative performance, etc.
• Perform regular competitive intelligence and brand defense reviews
• Support marketing regulation compliance; maintain advertising compliance logs as needed 

What we’re looking for.

• 0-2 years of proven experience in a detail-oriented role or internship; experience with Paid Search or digital marketing preferred 
• Comfortable Google Drive software, especially Google Sheets 
• Experience with Paid Search platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Apple Search Ads, etc.) preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and drive to ensure process consistency 
• Works independently with excellent time management and prioritization skills 
• Ability to work cross-functionally, with a collaborative mindset and a positive attitude 
• Maintains a do-what-it-takes attitude and enjoys working in a fast-paced working environment
