Growth Marketing Specialist
PartySlate seeks a highly-motivated individual to join the marketing team. The Growth Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Director of Marketing and other marketing team members to build our social media following, manage digital platforms, support our brand, and work toward measurable goals.
Responsibilities could include:
Assist with scheduling and monitoring social media posts across all platforms, including writing copy, pulling photos, scheduling posts, and responding to comments
Use Facebook Ads Manager to create and manage Facebook ads to drive website traffic and boost consumer engagement
Track, spend, and optimize monthly Facebook advertising budget
Work with the Editor to pitch original article ideas, research topics, conduct interviews, and write articles
Track social media and editorial mentions for premium event professionals to meet membership requirements
Identify opportunities to improve website and editorial content based on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices
Assist with email marketing by writing copy and building email templates in MailChimp
Ensure all marketing content is properly credited to meet event professional standards
Use creative eye and attention to detail to choose only the highest-quality, professional photos for all pieces of marketing content
Use Google Analytics to monitor, track, and work toward established data-driven goals
Create weekly progress reports to share with the marketing team and key stakeholders
Participate in creative brainstorms and pitch original marketing ideas
Support the marketing team by creating presentations, decks, and processes, as needed
Maintain the integrity of the PartySlate brand and voice
Stay up-to-date on digital marketing, content marketing, social media, and SEO trends
Skills Needed:
1-2 years of relevant experience in social media, marketing, and/or digital media
Highly proficient in all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
Working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Working knowledge of Google Analytics
Experience with WordPress and MailChimp a plus
Experience managing a marketing or media budget
Extremely strong written and editing skills
Ability to confidently communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization
Highly organized, self starter, and self motivator
Willingness to learn and perfect new skills
