Head of Marketing, Media Vertical
What We'll Bring
As the Head of Marketing for the TransUnion Media business, you will manage internal client relationships with executive (EVP, SVP) business leadership while developing, leading and executing marketing strategies, plans and performance-driven demand generation campaigns leveraging our integrated global marketing model. You’ll identify and drive marketing growth opportunities that deliver on the Media vertical’s business goals in close collaboration with sales leadership, channel partners, product management and business leadership.
You must be highly strategic and nimble, with a proven track record in effectively translating complex business needs and product offerings into compelling integrated and multi-channel marketing plans, programs, digital content and sales tools – preferably in the digital advertising/ad tech space for both direct and indirect buyers, including platforms, agencies, clients and partners.
The team will rely on your expertise in full-funnel acquisition and nurture campaigns (ABM experience highly desired) using a marketing automation platform (i.e., Eloqua, Marketo, Salesforce), as well as deep experience in cross-channel marketing strategies is needed, as is the ability to measure and report on program effectiveness and recommend opportunities for improvement.
The flagship Media & Entertainment vertical is focused on the US Market today however this role will help spearhead any global expansion to other TU regions.
What You'll Bring
15 years of successful marketing experience with focus on data or technology solutions in a B2B or agency environment
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent
Professional history of building relationships and collaborating cross functionally in a large and complex client business and matrix environment
Exceptional communication and writing skills, including the ability to present to senior executives
Creativity, flexibility and initiative with the ability to accept delegated responsibility, work independently and collaborate in group settings
Ability to manage multiple projects and resources concurrently with acute attention to detail
Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
Impact You'll Make
Serve as Head of Media & Entertainment vertical marketing, operate as a trusted partner and leader to the Media vertical and build long-term client value by efficiently delivering marketing strategies, plans, solutions, execution and results that are in line with marketing budgets, global business objectives and vertical priorities and growth.
Anticipate vertical’s marketing needs, and lead the development, management, execution and measurement of marketing plans and programs designed to solve those needs with marketing support teams
Build the necessary knowledge of Media vertical market, customer segments, solutions, and unique value proposition at the business and product levels in order to inform actionable marketing plans and develop, track and report on success and campaign performance metrics and KPIs to vertical leadership
Proactively take ideas to Media vertical leadership and challenge them when necessary
Work closely with vertical leadership to create the marketing budget, monitor expenses, and recommend changes to marketing activity at a minimum quarterly, based on performance goals and budget
Utilize thought leadership, industry research, advertising, solutions collateral, webinars, trade shows, proprietary events, public relations, social media, partnerships, etc. to initiate and develop multi-channel, integrated B2B marketing campaigns
Own project management from conceptualization, initiation, creative brief development, pre-campaign process, content and creative alignment, and campaign execution with assigned resources to ensure projects are of the highest standards and completed on time and within budget
Drive alignment and support among sales leadership and their associates by collaborating with and educating them on program objectives to strengthen campaign follow-up and accelerate the customer buying journey
Perform other related duties as assigned
