Job Description

The Influencer Marketing Specialist is responsible for day-to-day support of the KontrolFreek Creators program. The Influencer Marketing Specialist is in charge or identifying, recruiting, onboarding and fostering relationships through strong communication with content producers. This role reports to the Global Marketing Director - Esports & Influencers.




  • Assess, recruit, and on-board new influencers into the program.
  • Day-to-day operation of the influencer application pipeline
  • Effective communication with existing affiliates via automated and direct communication channels
  • Communicate with new and existing affiliates/influencers to negotiate and secure paid placements, collaborations and exclusives
  • Assist in the creative development process to help build cross-channel campaigns that flow across all owned marketing channels
  • Distribution of news, assets and briefs to affiliates and paid partnerships for the purpose of publicizing marketing campaigns, promotions and sales
  • Optimization of marketing automation tactics with respect to affiliates (welcome series, status updates, etc.)
  • Drive continuous improvement through analysis and reporting of programs while achieving key milestones and targets.
  • Maintenance of the KontrolFreek Creators library of content, examples and best-practices
  • Drive accountability within Affiliate programs, including minimum participation standards
  • Host in-person activations for KontrolFreek Creators


The Influencer Marketing Specialist will find success in this role by:

  • Driving positive brand and product impressions across all relevant media
  • Growing influencer-driven traffic and revenue on, marketplaces and retail
  • Effectively reporting on the health and growth of content and programs across our internal organization
  • Responding to all department needs with respect to affiliates and social influencers
  • Update organization on platforms and software 




  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing or related field required.
  • At least 2+ years’ experience in this type of role to be considered
  • Strong negotiator, communicator and storyteller with ability to clearly articulate ideas and present results.
  • Strong understanding of social networking platforms and associated marketing.
  • Understand gaming, streaming and esports culture with knowledge on gaming audiences.
  • Proactive, analytical and solution orientated.
  • Ability to coordinate and support multiple projects and deadlines
  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality
  • Team player who can work independently and collaboratively
  • Understanding of account management.
  • Consumer hardware, ecommerce or gaming related experience preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
