We’re looking for a seasoned Marketing Manager to join our Growth Marketing Team and lead our customer acquisition efforts.

 

Our Growth Marketing Team enables every aspect of the customer experience to focus on attracting and engaging consumers, and maximizing their lifetime value with Groupon to look good and have fun.

 

As Marketing Manager - Customer Acquisition, you will be responsible for developing and executing programs to optimize the size and mix of Groupon’s customer base. This spans  developing customer acquisition strategies, in partnership with the marketing channels and business development teams; defining the programs we will execute to achieve those strategies; and partnering with key stakeholders and partners to execute, measure, and optimize your programs.

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • Define the vision, scope and business case for customer acquisition and reactivation programs - in partnership with other marketing, business, finance, creative, and business development teams

  • Prioritize programs based on impact, cost, and ability to execute

  • You will partner with stakeholders across marketing, design, product, and engineering to build, execute, and optimize programs

  • Provide regular updates on program performance against transactional and longitudinal KPIs - in partnership with marketing analytics and data science teams

  • Adapt and optimize our customer acquisition and reactivation strategy and roadmap based on program performance and to hit targets

 

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience developing and executing customer acquisition programs in an e-commerce or other retail environment

  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred

  • You have experience partnering with senior leaders across product, engineering, operations, finance, and marketing teams to deliver integrated, consumer-facing solutions

  • Storytelling - to illuminate a vision, opportunity, business case, and/or business output

  • Proven ability to distill insights from program / campaign data presented in dashboards and/or in spreadsheets

  • You have strong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to be deep in the data and to distill executive-level insights

  • A willingness to get your hands dirty to extract/analyze data and execute programs

  • You have a bias for action, with experience driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
