Job Description The Market Leadership Team (MLT) program is an important institution that brings together senior leaders from all lines of business to deliver the firm locally as one cohesive and united team to enrich the communities where we live and work. There are 51 MLTs across the US that represent more than 100 distinct markets. The goal of the program is to grow our business, our talent and our community presence through cross line of business collaboration.
We're looking for a passionate marketing and communications associate to provide strategic support for the MLT. We're seeking a creative, knowledgeable and agile person to manage marketing and communications for our MLT program. This marcomms expert will plan and execute a holistic strategy, supporting marketing, communications, employee engagement, events and social media. This role requires a self-starter who can plan and execute projects strategically, efficiently and innovatively. Being an excellent storyteller, writer and creative thinker with a can-do attitude are also necessary attributes for this role.
The Associate will work across lines of business and functions including diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), human resources, strategy, corporate responsibility, and communications.The position represents an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to senior management across all lines of business; grow knowledge base of a variety of functions and businesses; and hone problem solving and communication skills. The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail, high energy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven organization. This individual will need to work well in a team environment, be able to represent the firm with professional courtesy and acumen and deliver flawlessly. This role requires confidentiality, initiative, sound decision-making and the ability to escalate issues.
Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute multichannel marketing and communications strategy for the MLT program
  • Identify key MLT milestones and stories to generate excitement and awareness around important initiatives and drive engagement (internally and externally)
  • Oversee newsletters and intranet sites to keep employees informed and engaged
  • Own and a maintain local fact sheets
  • Write, edit and maintain quality control of various content
  • Develop and execute multimedia tactics to share stories (e.g., text articles, infographics, videos, podcasts)
  • Align with and support Regional Communications team for internal and external activities
  • Align with and support Corporate Center Communications team for internal communications
  • Advise and work with MLTs to identify, draft and share local success and leadership stories
  • Engage with the Community Impact team, DEI, HR and lines of business to help the MLT program advance The Path Forward business and talent commitments.
  • Partner with firmwide communicators to share news and initiatives with MLTs and lift-up local content to promote the MLT program across various firmwide communications channels
  • Provide marketing and communications support for local MLT events and sponsorships
  • Work closely with firmwide events management and marketing teams to ensure local MLT events and sponsorships are complying with the firm's policies and procedures and following best practices
  • Develop strong trusted advisor relationships with Regional MLT Chairs, MLT members and other senior leaders across the firm.
  • Work closely with local MLT newsletter coordinators to identify and write stories that reinforce the role of the MLTs in their respective markets, in accordance with internal style guidelines
  • Deploy and manage cross-LOB LinkedIn training and tracking for MLTs
  • Manage Intranet publishing and update resources on the MLT Leader News & Resources intranet site
  • Review and approve promotional content to ensure compliance with firmwide branding
  • Use Targeted Email to monitor traffic on the MLT site and click-through rates on emails
  • Manage Targeted Email distribution lists and distribute approved content


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, plus three-five years of relevant experience
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple projects against tight deadlines
  • Strong writing skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and senior management
  • Ability to distill information into a concise, simple message to share through a variety of communication channels
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills. Must be able to work closely and communicate with executives
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure, and flexible
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with minimal supervision,
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Discrete and prudent with highly sensitive/confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Proficiency/experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and HTML preferred.
  • Knowledge of the following systems is a plus: Concur, ePurchase, Salesforce
  • Knowledge of basic SharePoint and intranet technology
