POSITION SUMMARY:
The Email Marketing Manager will own the management of our marketing automation platform, orchestrate lists from data sources, produce executive reports and drive the business through analytics and ongoing optimization. Your experience with managing the technical execution of email marketing campaigns and databases, combined with a data analytics with be key to driving the success of our email programs. You will work with multiple stakeholders and provide thought leadership on best practices, testing strategies and work with large amounts of data from various sources to extract actionable insights
The incumbent will be accountable for all efforts established and implemented through Marketing Cloud, including email campaigns and audience list management. Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, Email Marketing Manager will work closely with the rest of the Digital Marketing Team, Marketing Brand Teams, Marketing Insights, Client Services, Technology, and outside agencies/vendors.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead development of the email marketing strategy, including employing best-practices for the channel and inclusive of user insights and historic performance analysis to define strategy and future campaigns for both B2B Lead Gen and B2C Customer Acquisition
- Manage and build a team of email marketing specialists and developers to ensure emails best practices are implemented and meet design standards, deliverability requirements, and consistent open rates
- Lead development & execution of email campaigns, with brand team and channel specialist, translating marketing objectives into data-driven campaigns.
- Lead the development and maintenance of automated data syncs across multiple databases to populate audience email data using SQL queries and scripting
- Lead identification of key campaign measurement needs, including success metrics and testing opportunities, to inform & support Marketing Insights implementation & accuracy of campaign performance reporting.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
- 7 - 10 years of applicable experience
- 1 - 3 years of leadership experience
- 5+ Years of Enterprise Marketing Automation platforms such as Marketing Cloud, ExactTarget, Marketo or the alike
- 5+ years relational databases (MS SQL Server) to construct complex SQL queries
- 5 - 7 Years of Enterprise Marketing Automation platforms such as Marketing Cloud, ExactTarget, Marketo or the alike
- 5+ years relational databases (MS SQL Server) to construct complex SQL queries
- Experience with CRM tool as SalesForce or equivalent
- Experience in primarily B2B with B2C marketing a plus!
- Ability to multitask, collaborate and prioritize in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency working with Salesforce and Marketing Automation Tools
- Solid understanding and knowledge of data integrity and email analytics
- Advanced proficiency with MS office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint
- Must be self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage projects with minimal direction
- Team player, has creative energy, shares thoughts and ideas and possesses a positive attitude
