The Marketing Manager is a strategic marketer with a strong business background and innate creativity. This Manager partners well, works effectively in a changing environment and welcomes challenges.

This Manager will be responsible for helping to shape the marketing strategy and for overseeing the day-to-day execution of initiatives for our list of partnerships. This includes Small Luxury Hotels of the World, MGM Hotels, American Airlines, Lindblad and more. All marketing efforts focus on promoting World of Hyatt’s partnership roster to increase retention and out of stay relevancy; extending distribution and the ways members are rewarded beyond our hotels.

This role will also support the marketing communications and activations for our experiential platform FIND.

All these initiatives include creating targeted, multi-channel campaigns, analyzing campaign results and developing recommendations for future initiatives. This Manager uses a myriad of marketing tactics including direct marketing, digital, social, events, stunts, promotions, PR, influencers and more. All of this includes close collaboration with the partnership team, PR/comms, IT, legal, digital, field marketing, global regions, program training and operations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Execution of integrated marketing plans for World of Hyatt partners and FIND experiences (i.e., promotions, offers, etc.)
  • Establish and evolve social media, digital and mobile strategies and tactics targeting members and potential members.

 

  • Manage the creative and content development and executions across key Hyatt-owned and paid channels (i.e., Website, Emails, Display Ads, In Hotel, etc.)
  • Together with Consumer Insights & Analytics, study trends, needs, behaviors and segmentation to continuously improve strategies, analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities.
  • Leverage data and analytics to optimize all marketing activities and report on campaign results. Understand operational needs of marketing programs to successfully execute campaigns.
  • Responsible for education within marketing and across corporate and regional teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and project manage initiatives.

Experience

- 7+ years brand/marketing experience required, proven success leading go-to-market campaigns from strategy to execution, noteworthy if inclusive of hospitality or travel categories.

- Must have a detailed understanding of all marketing tactics/channels. Able to connect the dots strategically, creatively, and operationally.

- Excellent communicator and collaborator. Able to manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders at various levels.

- Relationship management experience.

- Must be able to handle multiple high-profile projects, with superior project management skills, and thrive in a fast paced, highly matrixed organization.

- Self-motivated, results driven.

- Sound planning, forecasting, problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams.

- Ability to drive from ideation to execution while linking strategy to implementation

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively communicate cross-functionally and through all levels of management.

- Innovative and forward thinking, keeping up with the latest marketing, loyalty, and digital/social media trends while proactively incorporating new ideas

Education

• BA/BS in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Advertising

Additional Comments and Requirements

• Some travel required, not more than 20% of time
