Description
The Manager, Segment Marketing - SurePayroll builds, supports and delivers the marketing, go-to-market and customer lifecycle plans for defined vertical markets. In collaboration with stakeholders across the business, this role helps define the strategy and differentiators for our key audiences, allowing the achievement our growth goals.
- Develops and implements go-to-market and customer lifecycle plans for defined vertical segments, including planning and execution of related strategies and programs and communicating those on an annual and quarterly basis, to meet growth targets.
- Develops the strategy, messaging and positioning for programs and campaigns, and collaborates with the digital marketing team to implement integrated marketing and advertising campaigns that drive demand for vertical solutions.
- Creates, updates and assists in optimization of website content for vertical markets in alignment with SEO strategy and compliance requirements.
- Oversees and implements marketing communication strategies aligned with business need, adhering to editorial, brand and social guidelines, as well as compliance requirements, and ensures brand consistency through all marketing channels.
- Presents plans and updates progress to senior leadership to build consensus on strategic goals.
- Conducts market research to gain critical insight into the trends within markets, and monitors competitive environment, adjusting plans to meet future opportunities.
- Partners with product and service teams to understand segment strategies and priorities.
- Proactively engages in and contributes to strategic brand planning.
- Recruits, hires and evaluates performance and engagement of segment marketing team. Prioritizes and directs work, provides consistent feedback and oversese professional development and corporate advancement through career development and training.

Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, liberal arts or business
- Master's Degree in Business. marketing, vertical concentration
- 3 years of experience in management experience.
- 10+ years of experience in Marketing experience.
- Ability to lead/manage others.
- Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion.
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure.
- Demonstrates analytical skills.
