What You'll Bring8-10 years’ experience in affiliate marketing for financial services with demonstrated track record of building relationships and a broad network of contacts among marketing departments of the credit issuers; experience with credit card issuers strongly preferred
Strong familiarity with processes and operations of credit issuer affiliate advertising, including the requirements imposed by credit issuers on affiliate advertisers
Well oriented on the entire affiliate advertising ecosystem for credit issuers, including not only the issuers and affiliate advertisers but also the service providers in between
Understanding of issuer preferences among various affiliates, including issuer economic decisions in choosing whether to display offers on an affiliate website
Proven ability to grow revenue and market share by using a strategic, disciplined, and focused approach
Proven track record in business development, strategy, consulting or sales
Demonstrated communication skills across all levels and functions within an organization and success in positioning complex integrated solutions
Experience with developing business plans and market strategies
Experience working effectively with cross-functional, senior-level managers and executives, both internal and external
Impact You'll MakeMarket Development for Affiliate Advertising Channel will provide advisory and subject matter expertise to expand TUCI’s presence in the Affiliate Advertising channel for credit offers. You will work closely with internal strategy, business development, and sales teams as well as external customers and stakeholders to define the overall strategic direction and successfully position TransUnion Consumer Interactive (TUCI) for success in this market.
Identify, prioritize and develop relationships with credit issuers to understand business plans and needs; expand issuer relationships over time
Identify issuer segmentation strategies and guide sales to pursue sales to pursue publishers of value to issuers
Maintain insights on each issuer’s credit products and market trends and optimize approach for issuer audience preference and appetite for volume
Lead quarterly business review meetings with issuers to review performance; advise issuer teams on market dynamics, best practices and recommendations
Partner with analytics to proactively monitor performance by Issuer
Negotiate/renegotiate issuer bounties
Educate and assist sales resources in positioning relevant solutions to solve customer needs
Understand and inﬂuence TUCI product roadmap and plans based on needs of the market
