Marketing and Social Media Coordinator

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an ambitious Marketing and Social Media Coordinator, responsible for developing and managing all aspects of our marketing strategy. The Marketing and Social Media Coordinator drives our culture, recruiting, sales growth, and social media engagement through creating, implementing, tracking, and optimizing our digital and traditional marketing campaigns. A successful Marketing and Social Media Coordinator is proactive, self-motivated, has working knowledge of current insurance marketing tools and strategies, and is an expert at creating and posting content and interacting with our customers on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Qualifications:

• Must have 2 or more years of proven marketing experience, insurance marketing experience preferred
• Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional and digital marketing
• Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media
• Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
• Has excellent writing and communication skills
• Displays the ability to communicate information and ideas effectively
• Practices superior time management
• Possesses a team player mentality and can lead and guide other team members when necessary

Responsibilities

• Create and publish relevant, original, high-quality social media content that supports lead generation, branding goals, and increased sales
• Stay up to date with digital media technologies and the latest trends while identifying new channels, strategies, and opportunities to grow an online audience and lead funnel
• Create a regular social media publishing schedule
• Build customer outreach programs for new and existing customers to improve customer happiness scores
• Become an advocate for the customer in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
• Work with corporate marketing to develop marketing materials for our website and other marketing platforms
• Assist with the analyses of marketing data, including campaign results, conversion rates, and online traffic to improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
• Ability to work effectively with third party resources and vendors
• Effectively lead employee culture initiatives for the agency
• Perform other administrative and sales duties as assigned
