Position Overview

Paro is seeking a self-starting, collaborative Marketing Associate to join our growing team and help build Paro’s brand through exceptional content marketing. You are excited about working in a fast-paced and super friendly entrepreneurial environment, where you are responsible for a broad array of marketing activities, including: creating newsletters and email campaigns; testing landing pages; writing case studies, marketing emails, product communications, and other marketing content; updating the website; coordinating content development processes, etc. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn and do quickly and gain exposure to all aspects of marketing.

You work hard, but also enjoy a good mid-day laugh, group coffee outing, or attempting a cross-office basketball shot (no prior basketball skills required). You thrive in an open, collaborative environment where consistent feedback and flat hierarchy are valued. You are a team player and look forward to close collaboration with the Sales, Operations, and Product teams.

• Majored in marketing, interned in marketing, or have 0-2 years of experience working in marketing
   

What You’ll Do

• Create and send monthly client and freelancer newsletters
• Coordinate content development with Paro’s finance talent and freelance writers, making sure we have a consistent pipeline of content in the works
• Publish and share blog content in various channels and publications
• Work with social media vendor to ensure they are publishing quality content and come up with new ideas to get in front of the right audiences
• Track and report on key metrics
• Set up and test landing pages, messages, ads on the website, Facebook, and other media
• Work closely with Sales on creating new marketing collateral and updating existing collateral for new audiences
• Develop email marketing campaigns for leads and prospects at various stages of their customer journey
• Have an aspiration to learn, grow, and succeed in marketing
• Add to the culture and change the trajectory of our growth by being your awesome self
• Work efficiently while dodging soccer balls and shooting Nerf hoops
   

Nice to Haves

• A working knowledge of Hubspot, Google Analytics and AdWords, and Facebook Business Manager
• An eye for design
• Basic understanding of financial terminology
