About the Position:

We are looking to add a Marketing Automation Manager to our growing team. This role will be responsible for the execution, maintenance and continuous improvement of marketing campaigns, utilizing technology and applying best practice processes to enable a fast-paced, results-oriented marketing environment. It is based in our downtown Chicago office and will report to the Director of Marketing.

You will be our in-house expert on the best practices and most efficient methods to launch and report on marketing campaigns through key stages of the sales funnel. You will “own” operational mechanics such as setting up automated drip campaign logic/workflows, landing page creation, attribution, conversion/KPI tracking, and campaign reporting.

This role requires technical expertise in marketing automation systems (preferably HubSpot), a deep understanding of marketing operations, and the ability to report on and analyze data. Must be able to think strategically and be insightful with the ability to tell a story that converts data into actionable insights.

What You Will Do:

  • Administer marketing automation activities, partnering with other members of the team to ensure effective execution

  • Oversee lead management processes from beginning to end (from campaign segmentation to lead capture to attribution to lead routing), working collaboratively with sales to ensure proper handoff

  • Manage list segmentation to deliver targeted and relevant messaging to prospects and improve email campaign engagement

  • Implement and manage lead scoring methodology and create an actionable feedback loop between marketing and sales

  • Administer A/B tests and continually measure the performance of core conversion assets

  • Build reports and dashboards in HubSpot and Salesforce to provide visibility into marketing metrics/KPIs

  • Continuously monitor accuracy of reports, performing cleanup when necessary

  • Measure, analyze, and report on individual campaign performance, assessing effectiveness and making recommendations for improvements

  • Drive best-in-class data capture and management to ensure database accuracy, performing regular health checks, cleansing, and data enrichment

  • Maintain integration between HubSpot and Salesforce, ensuring seamless lead handoff and accurate mapping of fields

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in B2B marketing role with expert knowledge of marketing automation technology and database management best practices

  • Experience administering or using HubSpot (HubSpot Certification a plus)

  • Strong familiarity with Salesforce (Salesforce Admin Certification a plus)

  • Experience handling marketing reporting with ability to not only gather appropriate data, but also glean insights to improve campaign performance

  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with a high level of initiative

  • Ability to understand complex processes

  • Excellent program management and communication skills with track record of working across sales and marketing teams to bring effective collaboration

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field
