What you’ll be responsible for:

You will be responsible for various administrative and client service functions related to Jewish Chicago: The JUF Magazine and the Marketing/Communications department. Your primary role is to support Jewish Chicago and advertising clients in day-to-day operations.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintain professional and cordial relationships with internal and external advertising clients and manage the client service of advertising accounts; handle ad sales to internal JUF clients; assist in marketing Jewish Chicago to clients and prospects
  • Create and maintain the monthly ad list, bulk list, and email blast list; update and maintain AdForce CRM to ensure accurate advertiser data
  • Manage the collection and preflight of advertiser artwork for Jewish Chicago; post digital ads to website
  • Per publishing schedule, generate magazine mailing list and submit print order; handle annual update of USPS statement of ownership
  • Oversee accounts receivable and the day-to-day operations of advertising billing to ensure accuracy, appropriate coding, and billing processes; provide billing details to accounting to generate monthly invoices; arrange new client payments
  • Assist in posting articles to the website
  • Create advertising reports, and various special projects, as needed
  • Support the Marketing/Communications team by ordering supplies, making room reservations and Zoom meetings, helping with lay meeting logistics, and maintaining online memberships
  • Support JUF Campaign and mandatory campaign-related activities on an ongoing basis

 

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a professional environment
  • Excellent client service skills and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional administrative skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency and expertise in Excel; basic knowledge of Teams and Salesforce a plus
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and multi-task with attention to detail
