Marketing Coordinator (Remote)

Speaking of our people, in March 2020, we put safety first and quickly moved our people to working remotely. About the Role:
BenchPrep is looking for a talented Marketing Coordinator to help our high-performing marketing team generate and nurture qualified sales leads, execute campaigns, manage communications, and coordinate our activities to ensure we meet our goals. This person will work closely with the marketing team, marketing operations, and business development representatives to level up our campaigns and keep them on track, helping us ensure lead quality and follow-up.
This is the right role for an enthusiastic team player and an excellent writer with a natural curiosity for B2B marketing who is excited by the prospect of playing a role in all of our marketing activities -- writing and editing emails, blogs, and social media posts, coordinating webinars and events, managing our content calendar, selecting and sending gifts and swag, and more.
In this role, you will help us develop, execute, and evaluate strategic marketing campaigns across all channels with the primary mission of helping fill our sales pipeline with high-quality opportunities that fit our target use case.
Challenges you work on:
- Support the execution and evaluation of monthly and quarterly content efforts and campaigns across key marketing channels, including webinars, content syndication, paid social, email, direct mail, product marketing, and events to help us hit our goals
- Write marketing and sales emails to support communications before, during, and after campaigns to maximize results and ensure effective follow-up
- Manage our blog and content calendar, including writing some blog posts, as well as coordinating with freelance writers and the marketing designer to create on-message, on-brand content that supports our sales and marketing goals
- Manage social media channels, including writing posts, engaging with our community, and growing our following, specifically on LinkedIn and Twitter
- Support product marketing efforts by writing product release notes and communicating product updates to our customers
- Work with the marketing team to optimize lead flow and demo requests on our website
- Work with cross-functional teams to submit BenchPrep and our employees for industry and company awards and conference speaking engagements
Skills and experiences we value**:
- Excellent writing skills and proven experience writing and editing marketing copy (emails, blog posts, social media posts, etc.)
- 1+ years experience in a sales or marketing role where you have developed knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and/or social media marketing (directly applicable internships will be considered); B2B SaaS a plus
- Social media savvy, ideally managing for a brand or demonstrated through an active social media presence (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
- Analytical and strategic problem-solving skills with a focus on tactical, practical execution and driving results
Ideal candidates might have:
- Experience with Salesforce and Hubspot (or other marketing automation platform)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field
