Job Description
GoHealth is looking for a Marketing Data Analyst responsible for creating customer-centric insights to power marketing. This includes segmentation, profiles, propensity models and ad hoc analysis to improve overall marketing performance and drive business value. We are seeking candidates who have experience with extracting value from data in a variety of business contexts and using it to provide business leaders with high-value, actionable insights.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Analyze consumer data to generate actionable insights that help GoHealth improve its marketing campaign effectiveness through advanced customer-centric insights
- Collaborate with marketing leaders to analyze problems, optimize processes, and build presentations that communicate insights effectively to all levels of leadership
- Build segmentations and customer profiles for each of our business verticals
- Become an expert in GoHealth’s business processes and understand the function data plays in supporting them
- Build interactive dashboards intuitive enough for business users but flexible enough to serve multiple needs and provide a range of insights
- Deliver on ad-hoc data requests from marketing while identifying ways to reduce these requests with reports and dashboards
- Identify additional data sets that we could use to drive strategy, improve decision making, and improve direct marketing effectiveness
- Create and improve critical marketing reports
- Compile complex data sets from a variety of sources
- Build propensity models to improve targeting and increase ROI
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Social Sciences, Economics or another quantitatively focused field
- Marketing-related experience and/or education, ideally with a focus on relevant topics such as customer segmentation, profiling and propensity modeling
- 3+ years in an analytics focused role and/or an advanced degree in one of the above
- Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex joins and conditional statements
- Proven ability to create easily interpretable visualizations with tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Plotly, Matplotlib, and/or Ggplot
- Experience building reports in tools such as SSRS, Tableau, Power BI, and/or packages in Python or R
- Proven ability to take interesting insights and drive them into actionable recommendations
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to colleagues with varying analytic knowledge
- Desire to improve on current skills while learning new ones
- Ability to multi-task while managing time effectively
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight
