Marketing Manager, ESG Retail/Wealth Segment at Morningstar
We are looking for a passionate Marketing professional to join our team in a newly created role, managing our end-to-end marketing programs in the retail/wealth investor segment.
The ideal candidate is passionate about increasing the adoption of ESG/sustainable investing among the retail and wealth sector, including individual investors, financial advisors and wealth/asset managers.
In this role you will be an integral part of a newly formed Sustainalytics' marketing team, working closely with the Director of Marketing for the retail/wealth segment and with our demand generation and sales teams to execute effective marketing campaigns that help the retail/wealth investor segment better understand sustainable investing approaches and make informed investing decisions that make a positive impact on the world in which we live.
Your passion for marketing will help you take advantage of the opportunity to be an early contributor to a new retail marketing team which will be part of Sustainalytics' broader global marketing and communications team. The Marketing Manager will execute on our strategy to make Sustainalytics' ratings the industry standard for ESG risk assessments. Most importantly, you will help to promote the integration of Sustainalytics' ESG data, ratings and research into Morningstar's products and into other recognized investing platforms globally.
Job Responsibilities• Build awareness of Sustainalytics-Morningstar's ESG data and insights with individual investors, financial advisors and other wealth management sector participants• Develop and implement effective demand generation campaigns to drive ESG product sales opportunities• Work with Morningstar colleagues and other marketing counterparts within partner organizations to promote Sustainalytics' data, research and content• Coordinate ESG messaging across Morningstar products• Leverage the strength of the Morningstar and Sustainalytics brands to create opportunities to demonstrate market leadership• Promote sustainable investing among new investors• Collaborate in the marketing launch for new retail investing products and tools• Collaborate with Sales to align on business processes for effectively lead management, implementing best practices for tracking and reporting on Marketing results• Apply our retail/wealth ESG market narrative across segment• Work with digital marketing and demand generation team members to understand lead flow and campaign results, regularly reporting these results to senior management
Qualifications• 5+ years' Marketing experience• Demonstrable knowledge and experience working in financial services• A passion for sustainable investing• A high energy individual with a positive, pragmatic / can-do attitude• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment with high degree of autonomy and with a bias towards action in situations characterized by ambiguity• Integrity and strong moral character with a passion for sustainability• Strong written and verbal communication skills
