Marketing Manager, Field Communications

| West Suburbs


About the role:

The Marketing Manager, Field Communications is the communications SME responsible for partnering with Field Strategy and Field Advocacy teams to develop, execute, measure and optimize segment-specific marketing campaigns and pilot programs across all consultant touchpoints.


About the team:

The Field Marketing team develops field marketing programs pertaining to the engagement, retention and productivity of consultants in partnership with the Field Strategy & Field Advocacy teams. Our focus is on supporting the success of our existing 40,000+ consultants and assessing new opportunities. We accomplish this by supporting the development and execution of sales enablement tools, developing engaging messaging and content, and delivering effective field engagement and retention programs.


What you will do:

• Responsible for crafting compelling positioning and messaging narratives for various field programs across different consultant segments/levels. Given the focus of this team is on driving field engagement and productivity, we need to ensure our communications are clear, concise and best in class and that relevant information needed to run a Pampered Chef Business is streamlined and easily accessible.
• Establish standards for field communication channels to ensure we’re optimizing our field’s experience and focusing them on the highest value, most useful and actionable information
• Owns field editorial calendar and collaborates cross functionally to ensure all programs and submissions are aligned from a communications standpoint 
• Works cross functionally within the organization with change management lead to develop framework for all field communications, providing clear direction and defining success criteria to business partners seeking to communicate to field
• Contribute to the consultant segment marketing strategy creating impactful digital-first consultant growth programs designed to drive consultant engagement and improve consultant retention and lifetime value 
• Partner with Field Strategy to establish campaign and pilot program goals, success measures, and creative/offer testing strategy
• Overseeing end-to-end campaign and program execution, including managing deliverables and timelines
• Generating, compiling and analyzing campaign results regularly; identifying key learnings and actions to take as a result of learnings


Skills you will need:

• 5+ years of communications, campaign planning and execution experience 
• 3+ years of Field Marketing and Communications experience creating highly successful programs geared towards communicating to and driving productivity of sales teams
• Experience crafting compelling messaging and positioning narratives across channels, and developing targeted content strategies
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally
• Experience developing successful digital-first segment-specific campaigns and communications that delivered growth and profitability
• Experience planning and executing pilot programs, including working with business partners to establish goals and objectives, benchmarking and setting success measures
• B2B experience communicating to sales teams is essential
• Direct Selling and/or kitchen products experience highly preferred
• Academic background in communications and/or marketing. Undergraduate college degree or equivalent experience minimum, MBA a plus
• Detailed-oriented individual with strong experience leveraging data and analytics to drive decision making and marketing effectiveness 
• Make decisions quickly and take initiative; have tenacity to see things through to completion
• Ability to influence and manage cross-functional teams to accomplish objectives
• Strong project management skills; ability to manage and maintain multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and provide quick turn-around
• Ability to adapt and work in a progressive, dynamic, changing environment
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Establish strong relationships & collaborate effectively with colleagues and business partners
• Manage conflict well
