Marketing Manager - NetCredit

Reporting to: Director of Marketing

Location: Chicago Headquarters

Are you interested in being a leader at one of the top FinTech companies in Chicago? Come join Enova as the head of marketing for a fast growing online consumer lending brand. Enova is searching for a senior marketer with experience in acquisition and portfolio (aka retention) marketing for our NetCredit business. (www.netcredit.com). You will work alongside the P&L head to delight customers and help grow originations, revenue, and profit. You will be responsible for leading a team and delivering marketing results through lead generation, affiliates, pre-approved direct mail, e-mail, paid digital, SEO, social media, and TV or Radio marketing channels.

What you’ll do:

Marketing Strategy and Budget 

  • Manage a market-leading brand and cultivate relationships with consumers, partners, team members, and industry leaders.
  • Develop marketing acquisition and retention strategies and tactics to exceed business goals.
  • Team with P&L Head, Strategy and Operations Manager and Product Manager to build a business roadmap and integrate product and marketing strategies (new marketing channels, new features, new products etc.).
  • Set and own the multi-million dollar marketing budget and manage results and forecasts to ensure the business hits its targets on the way to a billion dollar balance sheet.
  • Lead the new and existing customer budgeting and forecasting processes, working with the P&L head, product management, finance, analytics , marketing, and operations to align the plan with Kotler’s 4 P’s.
  • Dig deep into the analytics and the technology to make sure that all the marketing is working the way you think it is and want it too.
  • Manage marketing budget with accountability for staying delivering budget and reporting on key metrics.

Marketing Team, Channel and Project Management 

  • Deliver on aggressive goals and budget through executing projects individually and with support of the team, optimizing marketing channels, and managing relationships with marketing partners/agencies.
  • Develop and coach marketing team members in channel management, problem solving, critical thinking, project management and strategy.
  • Prioritize initiatives and projects for team- support project management, monitor and deliver on milestones, remove roadblocks, problem solve.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal departments (legal, marketing analytics, creative services, finance, business intelligence and tech) and manage external vendor partners.
  • Support team in working with creative partners to develop new and update existing creatives for direct mail, email, digital advertising, landing pages, and website to improve conversion.

You’re right for this job if you have:

  • 7-10+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA a plus) or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the following acquisition marketing channels: pre-approved direct mail, leads, affiliates, digital (paid-search, SEO, website management and conversion)
  • Experience in retention/portfolio marketing- email, direct mail, segmentation, offer analysis
  • Experience in B2C marketing
  • Proven leadership and people management experience
  • Proven success with managing vendors and business partner relationships
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to understand and analyze quantitative data and measure performance

  • Experience in e-commerce or financial services
