Department OverviewGlobal marketing is responsible for managing the reputation, positioning and promotion of the Motorola Solutions brand, and its products, software and services around the world.
This is a global role with responsibility for applying best practices of services marketing to manage launches and customer adoption of Motorola Solutions’ Services. We need you to be the next leader who truly understands our services story and help tell it to the world. You are someone who understands the fine balance of being compelling – and concise – to make an impact. Your audience includes CIOs, IT Directors, Communication Directors, Radio Managers, System Managers, Police Chiefs, Analysts and Reporters. It’s up to you to make sure they get it.
Strategy: Understand the services strategy and apply marketing best practices to support customer adoption within the existing install base and new customers
Subject Matter Expertise: Work with product and business development teams to understand services for the entire mission-critical ecosystem, audiences and sales process to help create messaging and tools needed to drive demand in the market and support our sales teams. Develop key messaging and communications for trade shows, conferences and other events working with Regional Marketing teams.
Content Creation: Know how to relate features to customer outcomes and create compelling marketing copy. Lead development and maintenance of materials that include web pages, presentations, videos, blogs, literature, infographics, etc. working with agencies and designers
Thought Leadership: Develop thought leadership initiatives and lead content planning for regional campaign deployment. Position services as a differentiator for Motorola Solutions.
Team : Regularly sync with Global Marketing colleagues to ensure messaging is consistent across product and software portfolios. Work with partners in regional marketing and PR to ensure our story is consistently delivered through all communications channels.
- Demonstrable ability to develop comprehensive marketing strategies and integrated marketing plans.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Possess an aptitude for technology and ability to translate features into real-world benefits.
- Strong writing skills.
- Strong presentation skills (PPT/Google slides creation and speaking to audiences).
- Marketing literature/video production experience.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. Knows how to prioritize effectively to achieve the best outcome.
- Builds productive working relationships internally and externally.
- Experience/knowledge of government or public safety markets a plus
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google applications.
- Bachelors degree required.
