Marketing Operations Specialist @ SpotHero: 

The Marketing Operations Specialist ensures smooth operations between our digital marketing systems and processes. You’ll work with marketing APIs, collaborate with product and engineering to identify system gaps, and obtain data from all of our digital systems. 

What you’ll get to do:

• Be a partner to Product + Engineering leaders and become familiar with best practices, tools, processes, our products, and those working behind-the-scenes.
• Collaborate with Marketing and other teams to solve problems, work on projects, and make an impact within digital marketing.
• Ensure our systems and technology are in sync, while also establishing new connections with RestAPIs + Javascript. 
• Some technologies we currently use: AdWords, Apple Search Ads, Braze, Branch, Prismic, Google Maps, AppsScript, FiveTran, Tune, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML
• Take on more than one project at a time and collaborate with the CMO to prioritize projects.
• Learn new systems and technologies quickly.
• Identify and build relationships with mentors across leagues.

• Create documentation and solicit feedback with review from teammates.

• Take part in weekly Marketing meetings to talk through projects in motion, potential barriers, timelines, and brainstorm new ideas.

Who you are + What you bring: 

• You’re comfortable owning projects, researching new systems and/or languages to complete a given task.
• You have a strong understanding of REST APIs, have worked with this technology for at least 1 year, and know basic Javascript.
• You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems.
• You are action-orientated and maintain a sense of urgency. 
• You’re collaborative and a clear communicator when working alongside other departments and leadership.  
• You are empathetic and invest in relationships. You understand how your projects impact others and you’re attune to non-verbal communication.
• You’re open-minded and can consider new ideas + perspectives.
  

You might also have

• Experience with SQL,  Liquid, Shopify, or Python.
• Knowledge of AdTech, including AdWords or Apple Search Ads, display advertising, affiliate marketing, or email marketing systems.  Prior experience with Google Maps is a plus.
