Satellite Office, a global creative talent management agency, is looking for a passionate, creative-minded, and social media savvy digital marketer to join our team.

Position: Marketing & Social Media Manager (Part time)

Your daily responsibilities are promotion of highly creative artists and our projects through Digital Marketing & Social Media channels.  Our goal is to generate new client work for Satellite’s highly creative design talents by raising awareness of the amazing work they produce.  You will interact daily with Satellite leadership and our 30+ roster of designers, illustrators, photographers, creative technologists and typographers.

Responsibilities

• Content production for digital marketing: produce case studies for web, social, and email campaigns
• Manage a social media and email newsletter launch calendar
• Develop relationships with design and marketing blog owners to drive pick-up of select work projects
• Earn design awards for the artists & Satellite by submitting select projects for consideration
• Business Development support: identify new target clients in hotel and hospitality industries (we do a lot of work there!), marketing event support, and new client pitch production
• New creative talent recommendations

Skills & Experience needed

• We seek a hungry, driven person that has roots in the Chicago design community.  Must love of art, design, photography, social media, and culture.
• Basic design experience for email and social media posts
• Must have working knowledge and experience with MailChimp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Apple Keynote, Apple Pages, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Instagram, Twitter, WordPress.
• Knowledge of design: blogs, publications, awards, conferences and podcasts.

Salary

$15 - $20 depending upon experience.  20 - 30 hours per week.  Full time an option.
