Who we’re looking for
We’re on the hunt for fun loving, social media pro who is eager to learn and put their knowledge and expertise to work. You have a passion for researching and creating relevant and original content, as well as generating some serious engagement across platforms. Show us what you’re made of!
What you’ll do
- Craft relative content for each popular social platform (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), and know the difference between them.
- Research what’s hot in the industry and create social posts and image selections around them.
- Analyze the best times to share on social channels and what is most effective in terms of engagement.
- Respond to any mentions or messages as needed.
- Dive into the industry hashtags, groups, and conversations across platforms (what are our customers talking about? What are our competitors doing?).
- Analyze and research new strategies to skyrocket our social presence.
- Recommend appropriate technical and business-related topics to the Digital Marketing Manager for blog article creation. Our blog and social presence go hand-in-hand like two peas in a pod.
- Share our creative content (blog articles, announcements, etc.) across social channels.
- Track metrics, report progress weekly, and most importantly – deliver like a champ.
Who you are
- Excited and motivated by social media strategies.
- Energetic, driven, and goal-oriented.
- Disciplined with strong time management skills.
- Ready to dive into a fun environment, eager to learn, and apply your expertise effectively.
- A very strong written communicator (seriously, we can’t stress this enough).
- A great attitude and sense of humor wouldn’t hurt either.
Your creds
We really prefer that you have a Bachelor’s degree in a specific field such as Marketing, Communications, English, Public Relations, or a related major. In addition, you should have at least one year of experience managing social media platforms for a business (no, your personal profiles don’t count this time, sorry).
