Position Summary

The Tall Ridge marketing team is seeking an experienced, results-driven professional to drive overall media strategy and execution for our clients. The ideal candidate is a passionate marketing leader who has a track record of achieving (and measuring) great results through various digital performance media channels including paid search, programmatic display and paid social. He or she will manage a multi-million-dollar budget and work with various stakeholders to drive business outcomes including new customer acquisition, awareness, product adoption, and sales for Tall Ridge and our clients. This marketing leader needs to be passionate about measuring results and ROI and not driving short term results at the expense of long-term gain. He or she will be known for testing and innovating in new areas and leveraging opportunities to scale the program based on results.

 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the VP of Media and the Tall Ridge media team to set client strategy and communicate success to Tall Ridge’s clients
  • Proactively manage and optimize client spend and tactics across all Amazon paid search platforms (including Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display, Amazon DSP, etc.)
  • Achieve media performance targets for both short term and long term KPIs
  • Establish and refine existing Tall Ridge media processes to ensure best-in-class digital performance media best practices are evangelized and followed by the Tall Ridge media team
  • Keep internal team and clients up to date on beta opportunities and evolving industry developments within digital commerce media platforms
  • Set up testing plans (copy, ads, bidding methods, etc.) for continuous performance improvement
  • Oversee ongoing A/B testing plan execution to drive media performance improvements for our clients
  • Synthesize data, analyze results, identify trends, report, and execute on key findings to achieve media objectives
  • Work closely with the Account Management, Analytics, Finance, and Demand Planning teams to measure and report results to Tall Ridge leadership
  • Utilize various reporting interfaces and campaign management software as applicable (Tableau, Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Ad Console, Amazon DSP, Walmart Ad Center, Kenshoo, etc.)

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Marketing degree preferred
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in digital marketing specifically SEM, SEO, paid social, with preference to experience on platforms such as Amazon and Walmart
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce retail media metrics and optimization tactics
  • Embraces industry-leading digital media strategies and tactics, including automation, statistical analysis, algorithmic bid management, etc. while maintaining control and understanding when the “art” should accompany the “science”
  • Experience at a media agency managing global clients, or an in-house digital marketing team
  • Experience supervising media specialists and analysts, while mentoring and growing their technical aptitude and soft skills
  • Experience with 3rd party bid management platforms such as Search Ads 360, Kenshoo, Marin, etc.
  • Solid experience managing day-to-day client communication, including managing meetings, both in-person and virtual
  • High level of skill in developing and delivering client strategy presentations and executive-level communication
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • An organized individual with great attention to detail, a sense of urgency, focus on the quality of results
  • A self-motivated individual with a curious and self-sufficient attitude who is equally a highly collaborative team player
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to influence others, and strong cross-functional leadership
