The Black Sheep, the nation’s leading collegiate media and marketing company is seeking a National Marketing Manager to help our rapidly growing company. Focused on media, marketing, and the social and entertainment side of college at 100+ campuses across the country, The Black Sheep thrives thanks to engaging and relevant content, targeted and strategic marketing platforms, a well-managed local staff, and the strong relationships we build with students and businesses. 

The National Marketing Manager’s role is to oversee marketing efforts for both The Black Sheep and our external clients. Additionally, the National Marketing Manager will perform these duties while ensuring proper communication, delegation, and accountability week in and week out for successful execution in all areas. 

Primary Responsibilities: 
Assist in Creating, Developing and Executing Multi-Channel Marketing Campaigns for External Clients. 
As The Black Sheep continues to win campaigns from large companies, the National Marketing Manager will work with our clients in creating strategic campaigns and carrying them out through campus teams each week. The National Marketing Manager will oversee the campus teams and be the liaison between campus level activities and our clients, allowing for strong communication, quick changes, and generating great results. 

Oversee Guerrilla Marketing Campaigns for Student Housing Clients 
Student Housing Lead Generation is a large sector of the company that focuses on executing Guerrilla Marketing strategies (dorm storms, street teams, bar promotions) to increase awareness and occupancy for our housing clients. The National Marketing Manager will oversee these campaigns, work with Team Captains on recapping each week’s events and planning for the next week. The National Marketing Manager will also help with staffing markets when new campaigns are added to the mix. 

Assist in the Development of New Marketing Campaigns and Initiatives 
In addition to creating and developing new marketing strategies for both us and our clients, the National Marketing Manager will need to have strong creative skills to help develop new business initiatives for The Black Sheep. New initiatives can range everywhere from planning digital marketing strategies to company newsletters to business development and insights. 

Remotely Manage a Network of College Student Employees via Phone/Text/Web/Video 
The National Marketing Manager will be tasked with maintaining regular, two-way communication with Team Captains across the country. This engagement with Team Captains should be free-flowing; National Marketing Manager and Team Captains should freely contact one another. Hire/Fire Diverse, Enthusiastic, Capable Staffs at Universities Across the United States National Marketing Manager will be tasked with interviewing candidates for open positions.

Requirements 
• Strong background in management, leadership, and strategic campus marketing 
• Organizational skills combined with proper communication and meeting of deadlines is a must 
• Experience managing personnel, delegating tasks, problem solving, and holding others accountable
