Paid Marketing Manager

We help students of all ages accomplish their learning goals by providing them with 1-on-1 expert support on our industry-leading online platform. We’re looking for an experienced Paid Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, creation, execution, analysis, and optimization of our SEM and paid marketing initiatives. This role requires a data-driven self-starter who can run our current tactics, while also developing the strategy for driving paid search growth for the Wyzant brand. Wyzant relies heavily on business intelligence, analytics and A/B testing, as well as regular qualitative research. Our teams embrace a collaborative philosophy, but are still nimble enough to move quickly.
What you’ll do:
- Own and manage all things SEM and paid marketing – Google and Bing Ads accounts, Facebook, Snapchat, traffic, landing pages, metrics, dashboarding, and reporting
- Provide laser-focused, daily attention to our SEM and paid marketing trends and KPIs
- Monitor the performance of our accounts to ensure we are spending our budget efficiently, yet effectively enough to maximize impact on our growth goals
- Reconcile SEM and paid marketing data with business performance data to identify optimization opportunities & trends that can help fuel further growth
- Build and maintain a growth model to be used for forecasting and predictive analysis
- Improve paid marketing performance through continual testing and expanding on keywords, ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, etc.
- Work with senior leadership to help define the overall paid search strategy
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience working in paid search
- A deep understanding of paid search marketing and how to manage a large, complex account at scale
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and can easily use pivot tables and other Excel functions to identify optimization opportunities; knowledge of SQL or a programming language
- An analytical and problem-solving mindset with a drive towards actionable insights
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, web analytics, and attribution analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of making recommendations and identifying trends from complex and diverse data sets
- Proactive and intellectually curious and able to start and complete projects end-to-end
- Bachelor’s degree with focus in Statistics, Business, Marketing or related field, or relevant experience
- Experience with Tableau is a plus
