Paid Search Manager (remote), Zoro

Primary Function:
Zoro is an in-house e-commerce focused Paid Search Team. What this gives us is a level of freedom to express ourselves within the team, explore new paid search techniques, and take control of our campaigns on a level that is truly unique. The team is working to solve complex ecommerce problems with the newest technology available.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and own the strategy that drives Zoro's SEM campaigns.
- Communicate Zoro's priorities and goals for the SEM campaigns, internally and externally, and execute those goals successfully.
- Improve and grow SEM campaigns (both text ads + PLA) and optimize campaign structure based on best practices and KPIs.
- Identify key trends, issues, and root causes and creatively solve for them.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to different audiences, and perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.
- Identify automation opportunities to increase efficiency within the account.
- Analyze and report on account performance and testing initiatives to enable data driven decisions.
- Pace daily spend towards budget, optimize bids and manage campaign expenses while achieving monthly goals.
- Communicate and work closely with external vendors and partners, including but not limited to, Google and Bing.
- Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams on various projects.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of work experience required in paid search, marketing or similar, preferably in an e-Commerce or retail environment
- 3 years of experience using Google Ads and/or Bing Ads required, certification in both is preferred
- 3 years of experience using digital & web analytics such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics required, including a comprehensive understanding of how marketing channel attribution works.
- Experience using bid management tools such as Search Ads 360 is preferred
- Experience using a product data feed management tool is preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of SQL, BigQuery, and/or other query tools on large databases is preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Strong business acumen
- Strong spreadsheet modeling (Excel pivot tables and vlookup) and PowerPoint presentation creation skills
- Knowledge and understanding of statistics and testing methods (i.e. A/B Testing)
- Highly motivated, self-starter who is results driven and resourceful
