Department OverviewThe North America Digital Campaigns Marketing team is responsible for the management, measurement, lead flow and tracking of robust marketing strategies and tactics supporting the business and sales objectives for the company. The team drives all campaigns, performance marketing and demand generation programs across the key vertical markets Motorola Solutions serves.
Job Description

Paid social media marketing is at the heart of the integrated digital campaigns marketing strategy and a significant driver of web traffic and lead generation for the business. The Paid Social Media Manager will work directly with the campaign managers to build, optimize and maintain highly converting paid social campaigns for a variety of distinct products and industries. They will manage the end to end execution of ad campaigns across multiple clients from strategy development, audience segmentation, testing, budget management, performance review and conversion rate optimization to achieve targeted ROI. The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter with a passion for social media and delivering business results through effective programs. 

Primary responsibilities Include but are not limited to: 

  • Build, manage, and optimize paid social media campaigns across multiple channels, including but not limited to Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter. 

  • Collaborate with campaign managers on program objectives and lead the development of media strategies and plans including audience targeting and segmentation, messaging, flighting, budgeting, KPI definition, CRO recommendations and reporting.

  • Utilize advanced targeting strategies to execute complex campaigns, including custom audiences, third-party data, suppression lists, lookalike audiences, and more.

  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data, and identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in marketing campaigns. Provide creative solutions to optimize KPI metrics, including: CPM, CPC, CTR and ROAS. Develop and test copy that drives performance -- conduct A/B testing with ad formats, copy variations, images/multimedia, etc. 

  • Lead and implement targeted eCommerce campaigns across social platforms, establish optimization plans based on performance of campaigns, and provide measurement and performance insights.

  • Optimize campaign buys to ensure budgets are spent as effectively as possible each month.

  • Develop in-depth campaign reports that outline insights on media delivery, engagement, creative, website traffic, attribution, and key learnings.

  • Compile data across several social media platforms and work in collaboration with the Analytics team to create weekly/monthly reports, including analysis for insights, optimizations and future strategy development.

  • Monitor the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how team can best leverage new tools and services.


Additional Knowledge/Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or related field

  • 2+ years of paid social media experience with proven results in running performance-driven campaigns

  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify trends and insights through data analysis and clearly communicate findings and visualize data in dashboards and presentations. 

  • Exceptional written, verbal and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees. Experience presenting to senior-level leadership. 

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, a self-starter mindset, and a willingness to challenge and re-imagine the status quo. 

  • Experience vetting, engaging, and working closely with third party paid media vendors.

  • Strong capabilities with MS Excel and data analysis. Aptitude to see trends in data and make informed decisions on next steps.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube that includes a solid understanding of each platform’s core features, as well as a technical understanding of each network’s advertising capabilities.

  • Proven experience managing Ads Manager accounts for top social platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter including ad placement, budget management, pixel creation, and advanced reporting.

  • Advanced social analytics and data analysis capabilities (i.e. Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics) and a strong understanding of tracking and conversion optimization.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment along with a proven track record of driving results via conversion-driven social media campaigns.

  • Resourceful, curious, and motivated individual with an ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or related field
  • 2+ years of paid social media experience
