That's where you come in.
As a PR Associate at SpotOn, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of communications strategies for earned and owned media to define our brand in the marketplace and help the business achieve strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is not just looking to join the team, but to help SpotOn build and grow a world-class communications department.
You will:
- Support public relations efforts, including media pitching, coverage tracking & analysis, research and planning.
- Write and develop materials across platforms, including but not limited to press releases, pitches, social copy, blog posts, etc.
- Support creation and execution of multi-channel communications plans, including product launches, partnership announcements, brand campaigns, etc
- Contribute to the strategy and creation of integrated brand campaigns, from brainstorming and research, through planning and execution, to final reports.
- Support other broad and diverse business and marketing communications.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of related experience in PR.
- Proactive media relations experience with demonstrated relationships and results.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
- Ability to think outside of the box and react quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to support execution of multi-channel communications plans.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Google Drive, Docs, Sheets & Slides, MuckRack, Meltwater, Businesswire
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Startup experience a plus
