The Mom Project is seeking a Publicist/PR Manager to drive communications and public relations activities across platforms (print, digital, social, video and events).

Responsibilities: 
Develop the brand communications strategy and execution. 
Work with trade publications across a range of industries 
Pitch executives for speaking engagements and create messaging and collateral to support appearances. 
Assist with publicity for major tentpole events and campaigns 
Devise and execute modern communications strategies that maximize social media, earned media, marketing programs.

You Have 
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, ideally in the female consumer space. 
Have secured impactful media coverage across digital, print, broadcast outlets. 
Wide ranging media contacts across consumer and industry outlets. 
Successfully adapted to the modern era of public relations. 
The ability to multi-task, adapt to an extremely fast-paced environment and possess very strong communications and writing skills. 
A collaborative spirit, team-oriented approach, big ideas and a passion for driving results.

This is a part-time role to start, 25-30 hours/week based out of our Chicago HQ in Fulton Market.
