Head of Product Marketing
The Product Marketing Lead is an expert on Affinitiv’s platform, how it works, how it enables our partners, and ultimately how it solves customer problems. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and positioning our products, including the development of collateral materials, sales tools, product packaging and pricing strategies, and working closely with product management to deliver best-in-class products. This role will be a critical asset in helping to align our product, program, and sales teams with the same vision and story for Tier 1, 2, and 3 clients. You will also work closely with sales, marketing, and channel teams to ensure lead generation, revenue, and customer satisfaction goals are met while supporting the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ability to independently lead strategic positioning efforts. Able to think strategically but also execute with strong writing skills and an understanding of holistic marketing planning and execute on it
- Work effectively with a very nimble marketing team that works across the organization to effectively communicate product goals and positioning, brand standards, and client strategy
- Passion for driving business results, with expertise in designing highly effective (and efficient) multi-channel, integrated B2B lead generation, as well as marketing collateral that represents our product positioning and meets our Tier 1, 2 and 3 clients’ goals
- Collaborate and lead cross-functional teams to unite the company vision and positioning. Able to easily switch context based on audience, translate needs from one team to another, and influence stakeholders to achieve alignment
- Project manage multiple marketing projects. Able to organize and coordinate multiple stakeholders to deliver projects on time with high quality
- Create email marketing, presentation decks, and marketing collateral for both internal knowledge and sales enablement
- Analyze and understand the market opportunities and our related product strategy in alignment with Affinitiv’s strategic marketing plan
- Develop customer personas and customer journey maps
- Manage and execute the creation of timely, high-value marketing assets in support of corporate communication, demand generation, and sales outreach
- Be accountable for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of the marketing assets deployed
- Perform market segmentation, targeting, and positioning for each solution area and OEM as required
- Provide input to the demand generation processes & technologies
- Evaluate and manage vendor solutions and services related to Product Marketing
- Work directly with the Product Teams and Sales Teams to support their efforts
- Identify areas for process improvement (i.e. product/project management)
- Maintain knowledge of marketing trends, developments, and best practices
- Feed sales experience in the field back into product management for use in road mapping
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 to 7+ years of experience in a product marketing lead position in the technology industry, preferably at a SaaS company
- 5+ years of experience launching and scaling B2B marketing, as well as partner-driven customer acquisition
- Comfortable getting your hands dirty and implementing programs from start to finish and working in a cross-functional role
- A strong interest in the customer journey and how it influences our product strategy
- Exceptional knowledge of product marketing strategies, frameworks, concepts, and best practices
- Able to understand complex product concepts and translate those into effective messages and oversee the related resource allocation and content assets creation
- Proven ability to organize, motivate, and drive cross-functional efforts within the company
- Strong project management & performance measurement skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships and work with Executives
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
