Product Marketing Manager, Emerging Product
The Role
Fusion Product Marketing generates customer insights, strategies, and tactics that drive go-to-market, champion new product innovation, and fuel solution adoption. Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role at Fusion, partnering closely with the entire organization to amplify success. Our team works across the entire product lifecycle, helping shape the product, driving launch and commercialization, and growing product adoption post-launch.
Emerging product marketing is an integral function at Fusion, activating and nurturing emerging audiences and ensuring the entire Fusion community fully leverages the benefits of Fusion's continuous innovation. This individual will be responsible for leading new vertical strategies, product marketing for emerging technologies across all solution areas, go-to-market platform transformation, and innovation supporting Fusion's expanding partnership network.
You will:
- Lead market assessment and opportunity sizing through quantitative analysis and qualitative feedback. Represent the consumer point of view internally with all cross-functional teams in the prioritization, design, and delivery of innovative solutions and experiences.
- Define audience, positioning, packaging, and messaging for Fusion's portfolio of emerging products and solutions.
- Inform and guide strategic decisions related to Fusion emerging product value proposition and positioning, messaging, launch plan, packaging, pricing, and lifecycle management.
- Partner closely with product to define the strategy, roadmap and success metrics for emerging products and solutions.
- Lead the definition and development of go-to-market strategy for emerging products and solutions across the organization.
- Craft and socialize emerging product stories that align with our overarching Fusion narrative and addresses the key problems customers encounter.
- Evangelize emerging solution functionality, strategy and roadmap through presentations, videos, demos and in-person events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in developing relevant content and promotional strategies focused on solution awareness, enablement, and adoption.
- Develop and deliver enablement for customer and partner-facing teams on solution launches and sales plays.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience that span marketing, product marketing, growth marketing, product management, design, operational roles, or strategy consulting.
- At least 2-3 years of product marketing and/or go-to-market experience.
- Experience working in technology, infrastructure, or platform companies is preferred.
- Experience working in tandem with product teams on product launches, from product ideation to post-launch optimization.
- Familiarity executing content plans cross-functionally with Product, PR/Comms, Sales Enablement, Brand, Digital, and Social in support of a GTM plan.
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of data and distill for different audience segments in the form of written, verbal, and creative collateral.
- Experience with win/loss analysis, competitive analysis, market segmentation, persona analysis, and customer journey mapping.
- Proficiency in working closely with sales teams
- Experience defining product positioning and messaging for technology-based solutions.
