Provi is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help design and execute the go-to-market strategies for all Provi products in order to reach and convert potential customers. As the liaison between our customers, marketing, sales, and product teams, you will be the closest to our customers and each product offering. Your passion for understanding the needs of our target audience will be used to maximize the strength of every marketing channel in order to raise product awareness. You will be responsible for how the company launches and increases adoption for products through channel distribution, content creation, sales enablement, and analytics. You will use your expertise to determine how we should position the product and craft compelling messaging that transforms each product into a brand.
Your primary mission as a Product Marketing Manager is to create demand for products through effective messaging and marketing programs. If done successfully, we will see a shorter sales cycle, increased adoption, higher retention rates, and improved customer satisfaction.
This is a remote position! Open to candidates anywhere in the U.S.
What you'll be doing
- Develop go-to-market plans for new products and implement growth strategies for existing products.
- Work with the Product team to provide user feedback, align on the product roadmap, understand the product features and develop messaging around how the product will solve the problems of our users
- Collaborate with the product, marketing, and sales teams to better understand our product offerings and the needs of our customers
- Develop product messaging that differentiates new products and services from others in the market
- Maintain and manage competitive intelligence Evaluate and analyze market research data Communicate the value of new products and services to the sales and marketing team
- Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product
- Develop and implement promotional activities such as product launches
- Create product content such as case studies, videos, website copy, and blog posts
- Gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities, and buyer personas
- Measure and optimize the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage
- Develop customer-facing release notes and update help desk material
- Subject matter expertise in the particular product or market. This should include specific industry or technical knowledge
- Deep understanding of the market and how a product is sold and the channels they are sold into
What we are looking for
- 3-5 years experience in Product Marketing
- Ability to identify what products meet the needs of each persona
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, possibly including copywriting skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Effective communicator with a vision who can bring others along the journey, both internal and external
- Proven ability to turn data and insights into marketing strategies and messages
- Passion for solving customer problems
