Product Marketing Manager

Position Overview

Reporting into the EVP of Strategy, you will be responsible for assisting outbound marketing activities for CloudCraze products. You will craft or assist in the crafting of the messaging and positioning for our solutions, targeted horizontally and vertically.

You'll assist in the development and execution of innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.  In your role as a Product Marketing Manager you will become the expert in buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Positioning - Transfer product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market to tangible deliverables. Deliverables include, but not limited to:  Sales Decks, Data Sheets, Web Content
  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products
  • Product launches – Support the execution of launches of new products and releases. manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Market intelligence – Gather intelligence on the market, how buyers perceive competition, and make buying decisions; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them
  • Win - Loss – Identify trends to why we are winning or losing deals to improve our own content, and provide enablement to field as to how they are communicating our value

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of software product marketing experience or in a field facing role, ideally experience in eCommerce, CRM or B2B Marketing
  • Experience working inside a robust cloud ecosystem, such as Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, etc.
  • Expert proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s in Business or English
  • Very strong written communication skills
  • Willing to travel 25%
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties

Our office is centrally located in the Loop close to various train stations. Bike year round, we have an indoor bike storage facility.
